Once upon a time, there lived a duck. His name was Planty. One day Planty went for a walk. He met another duck named Lolo. Lolo was a girl duck. Planty stopped to meet Lolo. He said, “Hello Lolo.” And Lolo said, “Hello Planty”. Lolo went for a walk too.
Lolo asked Planty, “Are you going for a walk too?” Planty said, “Yes”. And they both went for a walk. Lolo showed Planty her pond where she lived. Planty said to Lolo, “I also have the same home.” And Planty showed Lolo his home. His house was a garden. In the centre of a garden there was a pond.
Planty and Lolo entered Planty’s home. They both played together. Then there came evening. It was time for Lolo to go home. So, Planty and Lolo said bye to each other.
The next morning, when Planty woke up Lolo was still sleeping. Planty swum up to his garden and went straight to Lolo’s house. When Planty reached Lolo’s home Lolo was still sleeping. But Lolo was not sleeping, she just kept a puppet. Planty thought it was Lolo. Then Planty searched Lolo’ house.
Then Lolo said, “Surprise!”
Planty said, “Wow. How beautiful gifts you have for me.” Planty took the gifts and rushed home. Planty started searching gifts for Lolo. At last, he found all the gifts for Lolo.
The next day, Lolo woke up but Planty was still sleeping. She decided to go to Planty’s house to meet him. She saw that Planty was still sleeping. But he wasn’t. He made a puppet who was lying down. Then Lolo decided to search around Planty’s house.
Planty said to Lolo, “Surprise!”
And Lolo said, “Thank you. What a nice surprise.” And Lolo took all the gifts and rushed home.
The next day, Planty and Lolo were adopted by a king. Poor Planty and Lolo. They were missing their homes. The whole day they stayed at the king’s palace. At night when the whole kingdom got to sleep, Planty and Lolo quickly escaped. No one noticed this.
When the king woke up to see his ducks, he saw that his ducks were gone. He ordered all the guards to find them. The guards couldn’t find the ducks. So they decided to go back to the palace.
The king asked the guards, “Did you find those ducks?” He scolded them. The guards said, “No sir.” They were scared. They said, “Please give us one more chance.” And the king said, “Okay.” But the next day, the guards didn’t find the two ducks.
The two ducks lived happily ever after, deep in the jungle.
