One upon a time, it was raining. Barbie was looking out of the window. It was raining very heavily and she was wondering if it would again rain tomorrow. If it would rain, she would be very sad, because tomorrow is her birthday.
Barbie’s friends — Darby and Chessie — were smiling. Barbie asked, “why are you both smiling?” The two friends answered, “you will see tomorrow!”
After supper Barbie went to sleep. Next day, on her birthday, it was raining. Barbie felt sad. But it was just not raining. Instead Darby controlled the sprinklers to make them water like rain. After eating breakfast, when barbie went out, it stopped raining. Barbie was confused. What’s happening? Then Darby and Chessie shouted out, “surprise! Happy Birthday.” Barbie said, “Aww. thank you..”
“But you forgot your birthday gifts”, said Chessie. “You have seven gifts,” added Darby. “If you close your eyes, we will give it to you one by one.”
Barbie closed her eyes. She got a sketch book. Then a watch. Next, a pack of storybooks. Then a pack of few jewellery. And a few nice picture books of her memories. Also she got some paints.
Barbie counted the gifts. They were only six of them. Barbie asked, “where is the seventh one?”
“Well the seventh one is no gift,” said Darby. “It’s what you will do on your birthday. We are going to eat some ice cream and drink some juice and have a party. We have invited all of your dearest friends.”
Barbie cheered, “yay, thank you for the surprise.”
But after doing all the surprises. Darby said, “next we are going to have a sleep over! We will have so much fun on the sleepover.” And they did. But at the end of the day, Barbie said, “thank you Darby and Chessie. You are the best friends ever.”
Barbie had the best birthday ever.
